Located at the highest point in mainland Portugal (at about 1993 meters of altitude), the Serra da Estrela Tower is 7 meters high. Through its viewpoint it is possible to dazzle the valleys and rocks that surround the area. There is also a building available here where it is possible to purchase the most varied local products.
Fátima Sanctuary
Place of pilgrimage and Christian devotion, this Sanctuary is located in the place where the apparitions of Nossa Senhora do Rosário to the three little shepherds took place. Comprising the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, the Prayer Area and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity, this sanctuary is one of the main points of religious tourism.
